It’s time to pucker up because it’s International Kissing Day! 💋
Established in 2006, International Kissing Day was created to celebrate lovers and is now an annual event across the globe.
We couldn’t just pay lip service to International Kissing Day, so we decided to put together some of the most iconic kisses of all time to mark the day!
A sailor and a nurse celebrating the end of World War 2 in 1945.
This iconic image by Alfred Eisenstaedt was captured on V-J Day in 1945 and pictured a sailor passionately kissing a nurse in Times Square. The photo summed up the mood of a nation as it celebrated the end of WW2 and is definitely up there with the most recognised photos of all time.
THAT kiss from Titanic.
Next on the list is our Leo and Kate AKA Rose DeWitt & Jack Dawson. Jack and Rose’s passionate smooch on the deck of the Titanic was voted the best movie kiss of all time – “Jack, I’m flying!”. Ahh, we love that film. Relive the magic here. 😍

And last but not least, a Disney classic – The Lady and the Tramp. During an intimate dinner, Lady and Tramp lock lips over a bowl of spaghetti. The scene has spawned countless imitations over the years. Come on, you’re bound to have re-created it at some point. No?!
