As families across the world live in hope that they’ll be able to be together this Christmas, Disney’s Christmas advert for 2020 titled: ‘From Our Family to Yours’, centres on a grandmother’s relationship with her granddaughter and brings home the beauty of family traditions during the festive season.

Disney’s emotional short film is just three minutes long but it sure does get you in the feels. Focussing on the theme of the love shared between family, the tale takes a nostalgic look at the power childhood memories can continue to have in old age.

The short film is made even more impactful by its soundtrack – a spine-tingling rendition by 19-year-old singer Griff of the song Love Is A Compass.

And that’s not all, to top it off, Disney’s Christmas advert is being released in support of Make-A-Wish, a charity that helps fulfil the wishes of children with critical illnesses. Griff’s single, Love Is A Song, is also doing its bit for the very worthy charity by donating 100% of the proceeds for every download made before 31 December 2020.

And for little fans of Disney’s Christmas advert, there’ll be a limited-edition vintage Mickey Mouse toy, like the one owned by Lola in the advert, available to buy from The Disney Store and online at ShopDisney.co.uk, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Make-A-Wish organisations.

Furthermore, for every post shared on Facebook, Instagram of Twitter using the hashtag #LoveFromDisney and featuring a festive memory, Disney will also donate some money towards Make-A-Wish.

Well isn’t that just bloody lovely!
